Genetic Testing and Counselling for Cancer (Please see the next tab “”Genetic Counseling and Testing” for more information)
Dr. Casper and Bridgercare are now offering genetic counseling and testing for women with cancer or with a family history that might suggest an increased risk of cancer. Dr. Casper has received a certificate from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) to provide genomics counseling. This also includes preconceptional (before pregnancy) counseling and testing, known as carrier screening, to assess a couple’s risk of having a baby with an inherited genetic disorder. If you are interested in these services, please call to request a consultation with Dr. Casper. (Online scheduling is unavailable for this service.)
If you have scheduled your consultation with Dr.Casper, please complete this questionnaire before your appointment and bring with you.

Women: We aren’t able to provide “Welcome to Medicare” exams. We are able to do yearly wellness visits, but we strongly encourage you to obtain your yearly preventive care with an internal medicine or family practice provider who may offer more expertise with the issues accompanying advancing age. If you already have a primary care provider, we are happy to see you for pelvic exams, if you prefer to do them here. Of course, we are happy to see you for any sexual health concerns. Visits for women who have gone through menopause are not covered under our sliding fee scale.
Men: We aren’t able to provide “Welcome to Medicare” exams.
