Meet Our Educators!

  • Cami Armijo-Grover (She/Her)

    EDUCATION DIRECTOR

Cami has been the Education Director at Bridgercare since 2015. She never ceases to be amazed at the variety of questions youth have about sexuality, including “How do you convince a friend who has had many partners to get STI testing?” “Is it okay to not ever have sex?” “How big is the average American penis?” and “I’m attracted to everyone, literally everyone. What do I do?” When not at work dispelling myths and providing education to people from kindergarten through adulthood, Cami can be found on a river with her family.

  • Anna Couch (She/ Her)

    EDUCATION MANAGER

Anna started as the Education and Outreach Coordinator in October of 2022, and has since become Bridgercare’s Education Manager. She is thrilled to be providing education to this community because she received sex education in this valley herself! She graduated from Montana State University, where she was on a student-led research team that studied the experience of young adults who received sex education in Montana. When not advocating for sexual health, you can find Anna playing in the mountains with her pup or singing loudly to one of her new favorite songs in the car.

  • McKeely Shannon (She/Her)

    EDUCATION SPECIALIST

McKeely was an education and development intern at Bridgercare from 2018-2019 and is stoked to rejoin the team as an educator! Her mother has been a nurse for 40 years and provided age-appropriate sex education conversations throughout her childhood. She felt prepared and confident in making decisions about her sexual health due to this education, but also witnessed friends and classmates in college not having the same foundational understanding. As a nursing student, and then as a Community Health major McKeely became passionate about sexual and reproduce health. When not teaching you can find McKeely reading speculative fiction and foraging tasty things to cook and bake.

  • Heidi Buzzetti (She/They)

    EDUCATION SPECIALIST

Heidi comes to Bridgercare with 10+ years of experience as an educator in many forms! From leading backcountry trips with middle school youth, teaching in a K-6 one-room schoolhouse, and collaborating with parents, students, and staff as a private school administrator, Heidi is passionate about centering youth experiences, helping parents navigate hard conversations with their kids, building connections with youth to engage them in their learning, and creating safe, secure spaces for all young Montanans. Heidi holds degrees in Outdoor Education, Environmental Studies, and K-8 Education and is thrilled to apply these skills to sex education lessons across Montana! When she’s not trying out new engagement strategies in the classroom, you can find Heidi working on her embroidery skills, cooking up some mean soup, or out on the trails with her two hound dogs, Dolly and Cricket!
